Michael Brown 37897fbd40 [efi] Eliminate uses of HandleProtocol() 
It is now simpler to use efi_open() than to use HandleProtocol() to
obtain an ephemeral protocol instance.  Remove all remaining uses of
HandleProtocol() to simplify the code.
